We are currently accepting donations of land (of 2 acres or more) or houses within the city (must have three rooms or more) and houses or farms which are located within the Olympia, Washington area. Your support is appreciated! For the Latest Updates: Please click here.

Update #5.

After months of planning and several long weeks in the studio of editing special effects, green screen, getting permission from independent non-corporate musicians to use their music and more... we finally finished and uploaded our second video documentary today! It is titled, "Save Our Access! Save Our Internet! Just Say No To C.O.P.E.!"
Our video is hosted free-of-charge on the google video website which has videos by other people as well with whom the Rescue Community is not affiliated with in any way, manner or form. It would cost too much for us to place our video on our own website. So if you see any other videos which do not state that they were made by the "Rescue Community" they are not our videos. You will find a link which will allow you to see the video free-of-charge on our website by clicking on the link titled, ""Save Our Access! Save Our Internet! Just Say No To C.O.P.E.!"

We have also been informed that it will be shown on Channel 2 as well, and on Channel 4! Thank you everyone for your help!

Update #4.

The Rescue Community had a conversation about the 50 acres that will be donated to the Rescue Community. The discussions began around 2pm with details emerging around 7pm. A lot was discussed and in the end, through mutual aid and interdependence it seems another beautiful agreement between several people in a community will benefit the entire world! This land will enable us to hold year round Emergency Rescue and Relief classes, workshops and give lifetime housing to our memebers! Thank you everyone for your help!

Update #2.
Many new members joined the Rescue Community today! There was also a wonderful presentation about the Imagine Seven project!
The Imagine Seven project is a project in which seven progressive communities, cohousing groups, ecovillages, families and not-for-profit organizations come together to live on one property between 70 and 350 acres. Each of the communities may have different ideologies and structure but they all have in common that they do not promote abelism, ageism, classism, homophobia, racism or sexism. In this way the communities can work together to become self-sustainable with a shared bio-diesel bus, electric powered cars, shared solar power energy, a shared all-weather indoor playground for children and significant reductions of expenses by purchasing many commonly used, ecologically friendly household items in bulk. For more information and to see the Imagine Seven map please click here: www.ImagineSeven.org And then, after the Imagine Seven project presentation there was live music including guitar and drums as well as lots and lots of delicious food! Among other wonderful things that occured at this meeting, one of the couples attending the meeting offered to donate 50 acres to the Rescue Community! Awesome! We would like to thank everyone who came to this event and great and never-ending thanks to everyone who made it possible, including those helping with the film projector, table and chair set up, food preparation, clean-up and compost! Thank you all! We couldn't have done it without everyone!

Update #1.
After months of planning and almost a week in the studio, we finally finished our very first video documentary today! It is titled, "Creating Social Justice Communities: An Introduction to the Rescue Community, part 1 of 10.
You will find a link which will allow you to see the video free-of-charge on our website by clicking on the link titled, "Creating Social Justice Communities: An Introduction to the Rescue Community, part 1 of 10."

It was also shown on Channel 4 as well! We have already received compliments on it despite the obvious DIY (Do-It-Yourself) nature of the production! We have also been informed that it will be shown on Channel 2 as well, onn Wednesdays in May: at 1:30pm, 6:30pm and 1:30am! Thank you to everyone at Channel 2, Channel 4 and everyone in the Rescue Community! An archived webpage of the Channel 2 schedule is found by going here.
