Among other things...
-included in this issue you wil find the "UPP Total Access List." This
is a list of over 100 zine libraries, infoshops and collectives worldwide which
accept zines and underground press publications from all over the world. It has
much more than just names and contact information - it has pictures and many
profiles of the places and people telling about their lives. Some of these
profiles include activist struggles (such as the Revolutionary Association of
the Women of Afghanistan), infoshop protests (such as the LadenRathenower
infoshop's involvement in the protest march that confronted 2500 nazi's marching
through Germany), struggles of collectives (such as the Solidarity Books
collective being raided by Police in Indianapolis) and the fun and joys of punk
life and zine libraries (pictures of the idlekids zine library bakesale in
Detroit, Michigan).
-included in this issue is a personal underground
scene report told by a traveler visiting Olympia, Washington. The scene report
alone has over 15 photos and pieces of artwork, including zines, bands, zine
libraries and activists from Olympia, and is over 15 pages long!
-included in this issue is the UPP Solidarity List which gives the
names, addresses and profile-quotes of several zines and well known resources
that will review your zines, underground and DIY music and indyfilm projects!
-included in this issue are letters from Mumia Abu Jamal writing about
the war on the poor. Also you'll find a letter from Hope Village, a homeless
group writing with passion and intensity about the how and why of their proposed
Tent City in Vancouver, Canada.
-included in this issue you'll find a
directory of over a dozen different zine and underground record distributors
from over a half-dozen different countries all over the world complete with
information, pictures and letters sent from some of those distros.
And there is still more in this 96 page issue, including the forms
to get your zine, underground music, independent film or activist videotapes
placed in the 2006 UPP International Directory Zine!
